Our Story
Our story, short, sweet, but ambitious.

2021 for us was a bit of a rollercoaster, having been denied our wedding in 2020, we went into the year with high hopes, however like thousands of others our plans had to change. As the year progressed, positive things started to happen for us, we able to move into our amazing new home, and in December, 18 months later than planned, we were finally able to get married.

So that brings us to 2022. Having had so much to focus on for the last 2 years, we need a new project. Having purchased and received a number of candles for Christmas we were struck by a couple of things. The variation in the quality of the scents, and more importantly how wasteful the containers are. So having researched the market and the different options out there, we decided that there was a potential market for our ideas.

Every business has to start somewhere, and ours, like many others will come from humble beginnings, with small scale batch production and countless hours of work. But we hope long term to provide an eco friendly candle supply company, with quality and satisfaction at our core.

Our Products and Ingredients
For us to class our start up as successful we wanted to address one of the most obvious concerns most people have, the ingredients. For us, choosing a product that provides a reliable long life candle, whilst been sustainable was important. Having looked at the various options we settled on a wax that is 100% natural and largely olive based, with a few natural enhancements to prolong burn times and increase the scent range. The other major benefit to this wax is that it is Soy & Palm free, Vegan friendly and biodegradable. Once we had a suitable wax in mind, next up was the scent, possibly the most important part of the candle. For us we had to meet one key goal with the scent and that was choosing a product that wasn't tested on animals and was ultimately cruelty free. We have managed to achieve this with our scents, they produce amazing aromas, even when unlit, and meets the objectives we set ourselves.

As we move forward there are other areas that we want to address, including our container re-cycling idea and the use of fully biodegradable packaging. Whilst we look further into the packaging, we do pledge from the outset to use Zero plastic when shipping our products.

Our candles, been a natural product do occasionally have varying characteristics. We have found that the wax can change in appearance slightly in between burns. This is to be expected with natural wax, and the fact we don't artificially colour our candles, appearances can vary. This however does not effect the burn or the quality of the candle in the slightest. It is also important to remember to follow the guidelines on the safety sticker on the base of your candle.
